At Chicago City Ballroom you can find students learning a number of different ballroom dance styles. We offer ballroom dance lessons, salsa dance lessons, and wedding dance lessons. Within the realm of ballroom dance can you find a nice variety of dance styles. Salsa dance lessons usually evolve to include the other night club dances that are danced at a salsa night club. The include Bachata, Cha Cha, and Merengue. Wedding Dance Lessons typically include one of the following, Foxtrot, Waltz, Rumba, Night Club 2 Step, Salsa Dancing, or Swing. The song is normally what dictates which kind of dance style will be used. Sometimes we get lucky and we can dance more than one style for each song.

Here are some of the ballroom dance styles we offer for beginners, intermediate, and advanced level students. Beginner level students start out learning bronze level figures in our core American Rhythm and American Smooth dance styles.
